Yami Shibai Season 1 (闇芝居 一期, Yamishibai Ikki) is The first season aired on TV Tokyo from July 14 to September 29, 2013, and ran for thirteen episodes.
An old man tells a series of short horror stories based around Japanese myths and urban legends to schoolchildren on a playground using kamishibai, a traditional Japanese storytelling method using paper scrolls.
